British Tutors is always looking for talented tutors to join our team. If you are based in Hong Kong or Singapore and looking for private tutoring work, whether it be an hour or two a week or a full-time job, we welcome all applications. We're looking for intelligent, creative and adaptable individuals with a strong academic record and social confidence. We offer all our tutors comprehensive training, access to our library of materials and the support of being part of an experienced and friendly team.

Several factors will greatly increase your chance of a successful application so please do include details of:

  • A genuine passion for learning and education.

  • Teaching experience either in a classroom or as a tutor.

  • A strong academic record. All English tutor applicants should hold a degree from a British university, while applicants for other disciplines should demonstrate real aptitude for their subject.

  • Commitment to tutoring for a sustained period.

The next steps…

Potential tutors will have two interviews (telephone and in person) with members of our team. Successful applicants will need to provide documentation and references to support their application.
