When preparing students for kindergarten assessments, the most important thing is to remember is to be natural. There is no need to speak in full sentences as this makes it easy to spot the children who have been “trained”. The same goes for their attire, there is no need for children to wear bow ties and jackets, overdressing does not increase your chances; children should be comfortable so they can play and be themselves.

At British Tutors, we do a wide range of activities with pre-school children to help ready them for interviews and equip them with the transferable skills required. This includes work such as story building, sequencing, word matching and identifying.
